Senior Control Engineer, 12 - 20 years exp, Dubai/ UAE

An exciting opportunity with an established leading Middle East based National Oil Company, that functions throughout onshore development sites as well as in the shallow coastal waters with a number of productive oil fields.

JOB PURPOSE & SCOPE:

- Formulates and evaluates pre engineering and engineering concepts, designs and development for control systems and plants associated with the Companys oil and gas production, pressure maintenance, transport and export.

- Ensuring technical integrity and HSE requirements are met cost effectively throughout the development cycle.

- Includes providing expert/Consultancy service to other engineers/users, endorsing/approving designs for modification and/or requests for engineering support in the field of instrumentation and control.

- Reviews and approves engineering codes and standards used in design and development projects.

- Evaluates and approves project strategies prior to presentation to management. Provides technical advice to operating divisions on all relevant engineering aspects

REMUNERATION:

An attractive remuneration will be negotiated with the successful candidates and will be in line with a competitive industry standard.

QUALIFICATION REQUIRED:

BSC in Electronics Engineering or equivalent is required.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

12 years' experience in design and development of capital projects related to electrical systems within the oil and gas industry
