Minimum Qualification: -

Essential:

• A Post Graduate Degree in Social Science or Education from recognized university.

• Knowledge of Computer Application viz. MS Word, Excel, Power Point etc.

Desirable:

• A Ph.D. Degree in the field of Education/ Psychology/ Education.

Nature of Experience: -

Essential : 10 years relevant experience in the field of Teacher Education in either of the following:

• Experiences of pre-service and In-service teachers training

• Planning, Policy Making and Implementation of Teachers Education at Central/State Government level.

• Research in Education/Teacher Education

• Monitoring and Evaluation of Teachers’ Education at Central/State Government level.

• Management for conduct of Teacher Education Programmes in Teaching Institutions at Central/State Government level. Candidate must have a good understanding about various teacher education programmes and government approach for Teacher Education in India. Desirable: Experience of working with flagship scheme of GOI in the field of Teacher Education.
