Essential Responsibilities

- Interacting with relevant stakeholders in project teams to review/analyze requirements, identification of risks and testing scope. Fine tune / lean testing processes and make them more effective. Implement Risk based testing approach.


- Define performance (Load) testing strategies and processes.


- Establish proactive mechanisms to monitor testing team performance and ensure there are on-going operating mechanisms in place.


- Strategize and Leverage industry best practices and standards related to testing.


- Evaluate & provide guidance on Automated Testing / Load testing strategy and offering for project teams.


- Manage technology independent projects, job jars/change controls and supporting the QPM program teams for project execution.


- Manage vendor relationships for Testing including vendor evaluation, selection, performance management, Service Level Agreement.


- Handle Escalations and resolve issues and communicate across vendor teams in order to deliver projects on time, on budget, while focusing on Quality.


- Communicate status with global project and cross-functional teams on a timely basis ensuring timeline are met and dependencies are resolved.


- Take initiatives to ensure continuous improvement of testing processes



Qualifications/Requirements

- Prior experience with Quality Centre or equivalent tools for test management


- Experienced in SDLC and Testing methodologies.


- Experience with process quality methodology in a validated environment


- Demonstrated program management skills including project initiation, scoping, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, risk management and communication


- Project management experience in global environments


- Coordinate efforts in line with the "bigger picture" to maximize the overall value of IT service delivery and demonstrated history resolving conflicts in priority


- Awareness of and ability to deliver compliance requirements


- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface and influence at all levels in the organization


- Excellent interpersonal, presentation and facilitation skills


- Demonstrated ability to excel in a global matrix organization


- Strong leadership skills


- Vendor selection and management experience


- Strong negotiation skills


- Analytic, creative and business focused problem solver


- BS Degree in Information Systems or related technical discipline or equivalent


- Understanding of IT technologies and how to apply them
